Any Leo owner should take these into consideration when researching the lines of Leos.

If you ever purchase a Leo that subsequently becomes ill, let the breeder know, they can't be expected to progress the breeds health if they don't know that dogs they have produced have become poorly. It doesn't matter when they become poorly, from justs a few days after you take them home to years later. If they are good breeders they will want to know and make changes to their lines accordingly. You can also make sure that you publish the name and lines of your leo through forums or the LCGB Health Register so that others can be made aware of health issues.
